September 1st, 2010First Annual Wyman Wobble Gobble & Fall Festival
August 13th, 2010Wyman is proud to host the 1st Annual Wobble Gobble, a race to raise funds for Wyman’s Youth Development Program. The course will consist of a challenging 5-mile run/hike through the hills, valleys, and forests on our beautiful 250-acre Eureka Campus.
Please join us on Saturday, November 20, 2010 for this challenging and fun opportunity. Racing bag pickup will start at 8am and the race begins at 9am.
Registration is $35 if submitted by November 5, 2010. Your registration fee includes: post race drink tickets, aid stations throughout the course, breakfast, a performance T-shirt, race bag goodies, entrance to the EXPO, entrance to the Fall Festival, and entertainment.

Wobble Gobble Liability Information
August 12th, 2010Due to the terrain on the course, we ask that all Wobble Gobble participants are over the age of 12 on Race Day.
Liability Waiver (Must be signed by participant, or parent/guardian if under 18)
I am aware that during adventure activities in which I am participating at Wyman, certain dangers may occur. These include, but are not limited to, rugged terrain; accidents or illness in remote areas; and the forces of nature. I acknowledge that there can be no guarantee of absolute safety against risk and unforeseen accidents. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Wyman, its’ Board of Trustees, Race Sponsors and/or its’ employees, agents, volunteers or lessors from any and all claims by myself, my heirs, my family, or my assigns. I have carefully read this acknowledgement and sign this of my own free will. Further, I hereby grant full permission for the free use of my name and/or photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for promotional purposes in print, advertising, television, presentations, and/or website.
Wyman’s Peak Performance Indicator

Relive the Pioneer Days with Wyman
June 17th, 2010Let Wyman take you back…way back…to the days of the Pioneers. You and your guests will experience life on the prairie with Wyman’s Pioneer Days Living History overnight experience. Depending on the time of the year, guests will be able to stay in tents or teepees. During your stay you’ll make soap, learn to use an assortment of Pioneer tools, participate in an Authentic Native American Peace Fire Ceremony, and watch an outdoor skills demonstrations featuring bull whip, tomahawk, and knife throwing. You’ll also prepare your own dinner and breakfast over an open flame.

Wyman Receives 2010 Best of Eureka Award
June 10th, 2010Wyman has been selected for the 2010 Best of Eureka Award in the Recreational Camps category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2010 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Adult Getaway Retreat
